Learn more about the ATLAS export system.

In the EDP system known as ATLAS [Automated Tariff and Local Customs Processing System] – used by the German customs authorities for automating and speeding up customs processing – written customs processing documents are replaced by electronic notifications sent in Edifact format.
From July 1, 2009 it will be compulsory for all companies that ship products outside the EU to participate in the ATLAS system when exporting goods.
As an international outsourcing service provider, arvato services was granted authorisation by the main customs office in Bielefeld to participate in the electronic ATLAS export system at the start of this year. This means that our customers are already benefiting from its many advantages.
The integrated system solution in SAP including a monitoring function makes it possible to track and monitor the shipment continuously. Our customers can therefore check the status of the shipment at any time. We provide our customers with the systems and solutions for the largely automated processing and monitoring of international trade.
