Overview of logistics service offerings based on mode of transport:
- Preparation of the required ADR papers (Accord europeen sur le transport des marchandises dangereuses par route) and packaging for road transport
- Preparation and signing of the “Shippers Declaration for Dangerous Goods” after proper packaging in accordance with IATA regulations (International Air Transport Association) has been checked or the packaging has been done by arvato services healthcare
- Supply chain management that contains coordination, planning, and execution of transport of hazardous goods at sea in compliance with the IMDG code (International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code). Proper packaging of hazardous goods for maritime transport as well as preparation of the IMO declaration (International Maritime Organization) and, if necessary, the container packing certificate
- Coordination, planning, and packaging of hazardous goods for rail traffic in compliance with all legal regulations and requirements as per RID (international agreement on railroad traffic)

Integrated Solutions for Sophisticated Diagnostic Products – arvato services healthcare has taken on global logistics for Berlin-based Epigenomics AG’s cancer diagnostic products.
The international outsourcing and logistics services provider will distribute a wide range of medical products for the molecular diagnostics company from its base in Monheim to laboratories and scientific institutions. In addition, arvato will provide packaging, in- and outbound transport, storage logistics services and refrigerated logistics.
