arvato services healthcare provides all carriers with consignment data via ports from the production system. All major carriers are linked through this system.

A tracking and tracing solution using the SAP reference number and/or carrier identification number is optional, depending on the specific carrier, as is online order tracking. The result is a high level of process transparency across comprehensive freight status information.

Quality assurance for maximum reliability

Every transport company that transports temperature-sensitive products on behalf of arvato services healthcare undergoes specially designed quality assurance testing. Trucks are equipped according to the European ATP standard. arvato services healthcare must also meet special, individual specifications for the pharma and healthcare sector. Our many years of experience with refrigerated vehicles make it possible for us to objectively evaluate the equipment of approved refrigerated transports.

GMP-qualified vehicles

arvato services healthcare makes sure that only GMP-qualified vehicles are used, especially with temperature-controlled consignments, air freight systems and distribution to pharmacies and hospitals. This ensures that the products are always within the defined temperature range, even during the precisely defined loading and unloading processes.

Self-developed cooler for passive cooling

One option for passively cooled transports is the thermally insulated cooler we developed especially for this purpose. The cooler comes in summer and winter models validated for up to 48 hours, depending on the project, and designed to withstand mechanical stress during transport and meet environmental compatibility and fire protection regulations.

arvato services healthcare has been granted protection for its registered design. The Neopor® cooler, featuring a specially molded interior wall and dual secured lid, is qualified for the temperature ranges 2–8°C and 2–25°C. The qualification was issued at both minimum and maximum capacity with temperatures measured both within and outside of the product.
